Session Meeting May 2008
Motion to state that when explicitly delegated by the president for specific periods of time during calendar year 2008, Jeannie Choy Tate shall be authorized to sign contracts for Old First Presbyterian Church. - MSC
Moved unanimously to adopt the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Policy. - MSC.
Session Meeting April 2008
Motion to approve the expenditure of up to $1,800 for phase one of the renovation of Pastor Maggi's office and that the expense be funded by the Building Reserve Fund. - MSC
Motion to authorize $1 per member donation to G.A. host San Jose Presbytery to help defray COLA costs. This will be charged to 5762 Other Expenses. -MSC

Motion to approve that operations committee contract with Everest Waterproofing and Restoration, Inc. to make two exploratory holes in a long vertical crack near the Sacramento door for a price of $2,180, and that the expense be funded by the Building Reserve Fund. - MSC
Motion to approve the following special offerings for 2008 - Pentecost Offering on May 11, Peacemaking Offering on October 11 and Christmas Joy Gift Ofering on December 21. -MSC

Motion to approve the celebration of the Lord's Supper on the first and third Sunday of each month for 2008 and in addition, Maundy Thursday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Eve, Church retreats and other services approved by the Worship Committee. per W-2.4012a - MSC
Motion that the Session of Old First Presbyterian Church approved the Shared Equity Loan Agreement with Rev. Maggi Henderson and direct the President of the Corporation ot execute it for Old First. - MSC

Motion to approve the expenditure of $2,300, previously approved for $1,500, for the Medco lock system to be funded by the Building Reserve Fund. -MSC
